This expansion marks a major milestone for BetRivers Poker, which only launched in Pennsylvania in late October. In just nine months, the platform has gone from operating in a single state to four, making it the fastest expansion in the history of regulated US online poker.

It also comes with a series of firsts. It is the first operator to go live in West Virginia, the first poker platform to enter a new US market since PokerStars debuted in Michigan in 2021, and the first to launch in multiple states simultaneously. It is also the only operator to offer online poker in both Delaware and West Virginia, where it currently holds a monopoly.

And BetRivers is not done yet. The site is expected to expand into New Jersey later this year, which would make it the first operator to form a five-state online poker network in the country.
